Spas of Koh Samui

As I mentioned in an earlier post, where you stay when you're on an island is super important as you will tend to spend most of your time at the resort. Due to the short tenure of our trip, we opted to forgo the tourist hotspots such as the Mama & Papa Rocks and the National Marin Park Day-tour which sounds amazing, so what did we do other than lounge by the pool? Got massages of course! I tried the spa at the Le Meridien as well as the one at the Six Senses.

Eating in Koh Samui

Before I go anywhere, I like to know where to spend the most important part of day: dinnertime. Luckily, my travel buddies knew quite a few people who frequent Koh Samui, so we had plenty of options. The two most highly recommended were The Cliff, a stone's throw away from our hotel and Dining on the Rocks, located in the heart of the gorgeous Six Senses Resort Hotel.

24 hours in Bangkok- Sawadika

After a 2 hour nap, we found ourselves in the mall again as it was too late to do any sight seeing and we didn't want to venture too far from the hotel.

Feeling hungry again, we went to Cafe Fish at Siam Paragon and I could not believe how delicious the seafood pasta was! I did not have high hopes as the decor looked quite average and when the order came, the sauce looked too light, however, I loved it so much that I almost ordered seconds but we had some shopping to do!

24 Hours in Bangkok- Pizza for Breakfast

About an hour after checking in, we decided to head out but stopped at the concierge where we were delighted to find out that we could order seasonally available fruits that would be packed for us. If you ever go to Thailand and have enough weight to do this, a box of fruit is a great gift for friends and family.

As we were figuring out how many kilos of each fruit we wanted, Audthaphol came up to us and excitedly told us that the driver was found and he was on his way back to the hotel to return our money. The hotel lobby was buzzing with excitement and we were treated like superstars, as by now, the story of how we got robbed and Audthaphol had mad detective skills had spread like wildfire amongst the staff

24 hours in Bangkok- How to get robbed in Bangkok

How to get robbed in Bangkok

Within my first hour in the capital of Thailand, I managed to have 3,000 Baht stolen from me!

As soon as my friends and I got our luggage in BKK, we headed to the taxi line and were quickly assigned a cab. The cab driver was a little odd, claiming not to understand English then radioing in to the cab company and asking them IN ENGLISH how to get to our hotel.
