36 hours in Nashville

Loved my weekend trip to Nashville! I had some of the best cronuts and fried chicken ever and enjoyed shopping at the cute boutiques. Of course, I had to try some cowboy boots on and where better to do that than on Broadway where country music is loud and the crowds are rowdy.

Embracing Winter in Canada: Montreal

I have a bad habit of visiting Canada in the wintertime and although the weather conditions are not ideal (delayed flights anyone?), the locals are always such a joy. My favorite thing about visiting Canada when its freezing is that every local you meet will apologize for the weather! Now thats Canadian kindness at it's best. This week I'll cover my cold trip to Montreal.

San Francisco: These streets were made for cardio

Of all the nicknames I have come across for San Fran, I think “the city that knows how” is the most relevant. This city clearly knows how to pick itself right back up after a disaster, dust itself off and keep on walking, and that is exactly what I loved about it. It is not a perfectly laid out plan but it is quite easy to get around and there is just enough history and architectural beauty to keep you coming back for more. The steep hills will have you working up an appetite, but for those who are less inclined to walk, the transportation system is easy to figure out.

Los Angeles: City of Breakfasts

One thing I quickly learned during my time in LA is that they have the BEST breakfast but the rest of their meals are kind of blah so you would do well to fill up early in the day and keep the hunger at bay until dinner. The one exception is In-n-Out which actually has some good burgers and excellent service. The line moves very quickly and the fries are also quite good. Although, It is a fast food place at the end of the day.
