I am an Emirati foodie who was bit by the travel bug a couple of years ago.
Feel free to recommend your favorite restaurants and hotels for me to review!

Just got home from the Mother of the Nation Festival that is running until April 4, 2017 in Abu Dhabi. You can catch my instareview on my instagram story (@pillowsnpotatoes) for the next day or so.
For this post I reviewed Shmokin's, Tawa Bakery, La Maison, Lobstter Roll Boutique IceCream and Yamanote.
The Norway in a Nutshell website is relatively easy to use but you need to research all your options before you go to purchase the tour route that you prefer. I have broken down the elements of the tour, given a quick overview of the tour and my suggestions of what elements to use.
A guide to increasing your chances to seeing and capturing the Northern Lights including where to go, when to go and how to best capture the lights as an amateur photographer.
I have been dying to try The Last Exit ever since I heard about it. Located on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway, it is a collection of food trucks- think American food truck stops, but elevated.
I settled on trying three trucks: Poco Loco, The Burger Pit and Urban Seafood. All three happen to be drive thru trucks.
I woke up in San Francisco with nothing on my mind and no plans for the day, which is pretty unusual for me, so I perused Pinterest and settled on staying outdoors for most of the day, taking it easy and just exploring the city.
Of all the nicknames I have come across for San Fran, I think “the city that knows how” is the most relevant. This city clearly knows how to pick itself right back up after a disaster, dust itself off and keep on walking, and that is exactly what I loved about it. It is not a perfectly laid out plan but it is quite easy to get around and there is just enough history and architectural beauty to keep you coming back for more. The steep hills will have you working up an appetite, but for those who are less inclined to walk, the transportation system is easy to figure out.
I was so excited to visit LA for the first time this year. After a little bit of research, I decided to stay at The Line Hotel in Koreatown. I also took some time to visit the Santa Monica Pier and the amazing LACMA, follow the link for more information of where to stay, how to get around LA and what you MUST do.
Long before I ever thought of starting a blog, I took a trip to Seville, Spain and fell in love with an old palace that was converted into a hotel. The Hotel Alfonso XII was built in 1920s but was renovated in 2012. The palace was built in the Andalusian style and the building frames a stunning patio and fountain.
