All in Food

Los Angeles: City of Breakfasts

One thing I quickly learned during my time in LA is that they have the BEST breakfast but the rest of their meals are kind of blah so you would do well to fill up early in the day and keep the hunger at bay until dinner. The one exception is In-n-Out which actually has some good burgers and excellent service. The line moves very quickly and the fries are also quite good. Although, It is a fast food place at the end of the day.

Beignets of New Orleans

Every country has a form of fried dough that it’s famous for and while for most of America, doughnuts reign supreme, when you’re in the Big Easy there is only one way to have your fried dough: beignets. During my visit to the Big Easy, I tried Cafe du Monde, New Orleans Coffee & Beignets and Brick & Spoon.

Build your day in NYC- Evening

After a full day in the city you probably need a break. You’re sure to be hungry after relaxing at your hotel for a couple of hours so I’ll start off with some places to eat.

Where to eat

A fancy dinner is always welcome at the end of a long day as it is a form of entertainment on it’s own and doesn’t require an after-meal activity.

Build your day in NYC- Morning

The first in a series of posts encouraging you to "build your day in NYC." Starting with three options for breakfast and things to do in area after you've had your meal featuring Sadelle's in Soho, Buvette in the West Village and Clinton St. Baking Company in the Lower East.

So it’s not your first time in NYC but you’d still like to have a fun day? You’ve come to the right place. While every blog will encourage you visit the popular spots including the Statue of Liberty and Times Square, I haven’t found a post on what to do if you want to have a relaxing but fun day in the city.

Eating in Koh Samui

Before I go anywhere, I like to know where to spend the most important part of day: dinnertime. Luckily, my travel buddies knew quite a few people who frequent Koh Samui, so we had plenty of options. The two most highly recommended were The Cliff, a stone's throw away from our hotel and Dining on the Rocks, located in the heart of the gorgeous Six Senses Resort Hotel.
