Loved my weekend trip to Nashville! I had some of the best cronuts and fried chicken ever and enjoyed shopping at the cute boutiques. Of course, I had to try some cowboy boots on and where better to do that than on Broadway where country music is loud and the crowds are rowdy.
I have a bad habit of visiting Canada in the wintertime and although the weather conditions are not ideal (delayed flights anyone?), the locals are always such a joy. My favorite thing about visiting Canada when its freezing is that every local you meet will apologize for the weather! Now thats Canadian kindness at it's best. This week I'll cover my cold trip to Montreal.
Lonely Planet has just included Oslo, Norway on their list of 10 best places to travel. I could not agree more but I would add that it is best to go during the wintertime and to make sure to book a dog-sledding trip while you are visiting.
I found myself in Oslo with no time to spare and a lot to do. I ended up loving my short time there from the hotel to the performances to the food and the museums, a real city keeps humming on even when it's cold outside.
