Build your day in NYC- Evening

After a full day in the city you probably need a break. You’re sure to be hungry after relaxing at your hotel for a couple of hours so I’ll start off with some places to eat.

Where to eat

A fancy dinner is always welcome at the end of a long day as it is a form of entertainment on it’s own and doesn’t require an after-meal activity.

Build your day in NYC- Morning

The first in a series of posts encouraging you to "build your day in NYC." Starting with three options for breakfast and things to do in area after you've had your meal featuring Sadelle's in Soho, Buvette in the West Village and Clinton St. Baking Company in the Lower East.

So it’s not your first time in NYC but you’d still like to have a fun day? You’ve come to the right place. While every blog will encourage you visit the popular spots including the Statue of Liberty and Times Square, I haven’t found a post on what to do if you want to have a relaxing but fun day in the city.

I’ll meet you on Broadway!

Over the years, I have been lucky enough to watch a lot of Broadway shows and I always get asked what I would recommend so I’ve compiled a list of my top 5 and why I love them so much.

1.     Wicked

2.     Lion King the musical

3.     The Book of Mormon

4.     Aladdin the musical

5.     Legally Blonde the musical

New York, New York!

I have been lucky enough to visit New York City several times and my love for the city has grown over time, which is not hard to do given that the first time I was forced to stay overnight due to a storm cancelling my flight. Twenty-four unexpected hours in the Big Apple- overwhelming would be an understatement! Side note: if your main exposure to NYC is TV shows and movies, let me tell you that NYC is a LOT dirtier in real life than it is as the backdrop to Gossip Girl!
